Last Friday I had to put my dog Roxxi to sleep. She had cancer in the liver.
We found out Friday mourning and she was put down that night- she was in pain,
hadn't eaten in days, throwing up. My son Cooper screamed and cried- he didn't
understand why we couldn't fix her. One of the hardest things I've done in my
life was to hold Roxxi's face as they put the injection in- I saw the life go from
her eyes. I cried then and I'm crying now. Long live mans best friend.
Below is one of the most beautiful and heaviest videos you'll ever watch.

Sorry for your loss, Lance. That's rough.
Godspeed, Roxxi.
So sorry, Lance.
Miss ya rox, you were truly full of life. Sorry Dawes, totally know the pain...
It's a tough decision. But in the end it's kind of reassuring, seeing them relax through all of the pain at the end. The heavy breathing calms and then they are part of your memory. Sorry Lance.
So sorry dude.
Full-on bummer man. Our family had to put down our 18-year old dog, Piggy, a few weeks back. It was really tough. I feel for you. I bet Roxxi is happily nippin' at someone's heels somewhere now. Peace.
RIP Roxxi glad I met you and shared a couch. -w
